Ann

I have been teaching for the last 50 years in local schools and clubs. I swam for the GB Swim team when I was 16. I have been working at the Hook Swim School for the last 3 years. I enjoy taking the siblings of some of my past pupils and enjoy a challenge.

I have been teaching swimming for 29 years and I have been working at Hook Swim School for 3 ½ years. I teach preschool after school children, Adult classes and some of the local schools that come in for lessons. I’m from a swimming background and swam for Kingston Royal for many years. I love working at Hook Swim School and enjoy teaching as it's such a rewarding job.

I have had great pleasure in teaching swimming for over ten years. I strive for water confidence, good technique and of course fun within my lesson. I want my swimmers to enjoy their progress and develop on their own ability to become competent swimmers.

I have been teaching swimming for almost 3 years and have enjoyed every moment. I’ve worked in SEN school which has given me experience. It has also meant I’ve learnt many techniques of teaching too. I used to be a club swimmer so I work well with experienced swimmers, however, I love seeing beginners progress through their swim journeys.

Zack

I’m a student at Kingston University, studying Sports Science. I have enjoyed every minute of my job since qualifying as a swimming instructor. I come from a background of competitive swimming and find it very rewarding to be able to pass on my expertise to my learners. I have an innovative teaching approach and I am very enthusiastic about instilling good technique from the beginning. I like to add an element of fun into every session I teach as I believe it’s key for progression for both children and adults. I have taught swimmers of all levels but nothing compares to seeing young children swimming on their own for the first time.
